General Policies
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to book a guest room, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
All rates are based on double occupancy and access to all common area amenities.
Connecticut State Rooms Tax (15%) is not included in the standard daily rate and is, therefore, additional.
Children
We happily welcome all children to our property
Pets and Service Animals
Pets are welcome in our Woodside Building as well as our Sunnyside Pet Room. A charge of $25 will be assessed per night for guests that bring their furry friends along.
We love having you and our furry guests.
Please keep in mind all pets and/or service animals must be under your control at all times, whether this is by means of a leash, hand gestures, or voice control. Your dog cannot become unruly. If your service dog were to damage anything in the hotel room or disturb other guests during your stay, you are liable for the cost of those damages.
A service animal is allowed to stay in any room with you by law, but you must remain with them at all times and they must never be left unattended or they do not qualify as a service animal. Pets or service animals found unattended in rooms will need to be removed at the expense of the owner until your return.
No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any guest room or public space at Interlaken. Non-compliance will result in a minimum surcharge of $250. Please, for the comfort and benefit of all, keep smoking to the designated areas on property.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in time is at 4pm. Check-out time is 11 a.m.
Deposit Policies
All stays require one night's stay plus tax deposit taken at the time of reservation, unless otherwise noted.
Cancellation Policies
Cancellations are a significant risk to our ability to maintain our business. We recognize life can get in the way of your plans for a peaceful retreat, however, we highly recommend guests consider Trip Cancellation Insurance through any number of vendors to secure your stay and eliminate the cost of non-refundable deposits and payments due to you of a cancelled reservation.
Refunds of advanced deposits, less a $25.00 fee from the credit card company, will be made if cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to your confirmed arrival for non-holiday, non-special event reservations. All holidays and special event dates hold a 30 day cancellation policy.

If you cancel your reservation inside of this policy, you will forfeit your deposit amount.
A full deposit is required when making a reservation for the Penthouse Suite, Basha Cottage, and the Lakeside Cottage. There is a 2 night minimum for these accommodations. These reservations are not able to be cancelled and are non - refundable.
